2 Virtual Routers on 1 Port

2 Virtual Routers on 1 Port

Just an easy question.

I've created a new virtual router on an x460.
I have a working setup with 2 vr's on 1 port with multiple vlans (created on multiple vr's).
I pretty much just followed the Concepts Guide.
Everything works great, no problems.

My question is can i remove VR-Default from all edge ports?
What would the problem be with that?

There is absolute no problem with removing the VR-Default from all edge ports.
Actually the ports will be following the VR where the VLAN is created in.

Hi,

There is inter-vr routing available.

Kind regards,

Ron, another quick question. So the x460 with both VR connect in to our WAN (x670-G2). If I enable OSPF on both VR do I need 2 uplinks to the x670, or is it possible to run ospf on both VR on only 1 port?

Thanks for your help with this!
