Hi Uwe,
You can find this information in:
show switch
show version
show version images
In 'show switch' you will see 2 'partitions' which are locations that images are stored, and the version stored within them.
These are called 'primary ver' and 'secondary ver', but there is no 'priority' on these partitions, it is really just 'image location 1' and 'image location 2'.
You can see the image location used on the current boot (image booted), and the image location to use on the next reboot (image selected).
When you perform an upgrade, the new image is automatically installed into the INACTIVE partition, that is the image that is not currently booted. Once the upgrade completes, the 'Image Selected' automatically changes to the inactive partition so that the upgrade completes on the next reboot.
There is no filesystem command to view this information or where the images is actually stored internally on the switch (IE: ls /usr/local/cfg). You can only get this info from CLI outputs (or other ways of querying the same partition information).
Hope that helps!

Hi Gabriel, thx for your reply.
I tried to sent the XOS file in different ways to the X440G2. But in Location the Firmware was found. Tried it with SCP, Chalet.
So when i renamed the *.xos file to *. it was transferable to the default location. Could be seen with ls command. So i renamed on the switch to .xos again and installed. So i struggeld maybe the file would be stored in another location. But the workaround was ok.
Thx for your answer, enjoy your day
