Due to third party software restrictions, as of April 2, 2024, Extreme Networks will remove all EXOS (Switch Engine) software revisions noted in the āSoftware Affectedā section below from the Extreme Support Portal and will no longer distribute any software revisions prior to those listed as replacements (see the field notice for more details).

Summit X430, 435, X440, X440-G2, X450, X450-G2, X460, X460-G2, X465, X480, X620, X650, X670, X670-G2, X690, X695, X770, X870 and all prior versions of Summit EXOS switches which are past End of Service Life date.
Purview Application Sensor
All Black Diamond BD8K, BDX, and legacy Black diamond families (10K, 12K, 20K).
All Universal Switches with Switch Engine software:
5320, 5420, 5520, 5720, 7520, 7720 series
Software Affected
All 32.x software releases 32.6.2 and earlier.
All 31.x software releases 31.7.2 and earlier.
All 31.x Federal software releases 31.2.x and earlier.
All 30.x software releases.
All 22.x software releases.
All 16.x software releases.
All 15.x software releases.
All software releases prior to 30.x.

Based on the experience of migrating WING's FLASH interface to HTML, I highly doubt this will actually happen. 5 years after announcing the NOVA interface it is still full of bugs and missing a lot of things that existed before.

Stephan and Gabriel are discussing a very specific issue with upgrading from previous EXOS releases.
A workaround for this issue (tftp xmod) was actually published two weeks ago.
Haven't tried it yet, but upgrading old stacks might now be easier than ever!
