How to monitor the unknown unicast frames?

I have to configure the rate-limit on the ports.
conf ports 1 rate-limit flood unknown-destmac But I don't actually know the rate limit. How much unknown unicast frames should be in our network. Can I log or monitor this kind of traffic.
