I have to configure X250 switch ports (v.15.3.4.6-patch1-13) to authenticate only AP and not client as AP aware function for latest generation switches? Somebody can help me?
Thank you

AP aware requires "authentication override" in OnePolicy.

If I remember correctly, the x250 has been so long end-of-life (2018) that it never supported the OnePolicy-functionality at all.

Hello! MyMilestoneCard com

To configure your X250 switch ports to authenticate only an AP and not its clients, you need to use an "AP Aware" function. This is typically achieved through MAC-based authentication in conjunction with a RADIUS or NAC server. The key is to create a policy where, once the AP's MAC address is authenticated, the port is opened to allow all subsequent traffic from that device and its connected clients. This process requires configuring your switch to communicate with a RADIUS server, enabling MAC authentication on the ports, and creating a policy on the RADIUS/NAC server that applies the AP-aware logic. Given the complexity and potential security implications, consulting the official Extreme Networks documentation for your specific switch model and firmware version is highly recommended.
