X435 USB copy of XOS File fails with now space left on device

Hello,
I would like to update the X435 from USB.
the switch deletes the image on the USB stick after install - this is a bit anoying

this does not solve my problem, because X435 throws an error when I try to copy the XOS file:

Is there another partition with more space?
Just for information, how much space/flash does the x435 have? compared to X440G2 or 5320?

the x435 has a total of 128Mb flash memory, while the x440G2 has 4Gb of eMMC flash and the 5320 1Gb of SLC NAND flash.

The X435 only has 128MB of flash memory and the images are 100MB!??!?

1. How can it store a primary and secondary firmware image??
2. How in the world do we update it?!?

We are running into the same problem where our X435s won't take either the current maintenance release or current feature release due to full storage.  TFTP was failing so we tried USB transfer to find the same result.

How can we upgrade the firmware on these switches?!?!

What version are you currently on and you can provide the output of " ls /usr/local/tmp"(mainly the portion below):
