it will simply not work to copy a xos x435 image from usb to /usr/local/tmp because the image is ~45MByte and the partition is ~20MByte

Hi Anton,
Also curious what command you're using for the install? Are you trying to download/copy and install separately? Could you try the 'download image' or 'download url' commands listed here depending on your version? You can optionally 'install' at this time or later depending on your answer to the prompt.
