Hello,
I would like to update the X435 from USB.
the switch deletes the image on the USB stick after install - this is a bit anoying
https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000059021
this does not solve my problem, because X435 throws an error when I try to copy the XOS file:

* X435-24P-4S.4 # cp /usr/local/ext/summitlite_arm-31.7.1.4-patch1-36.xos /usr/local/tmp/
Copy 'summitlite_arm-31.7.1.4-patch1-36.xos' from '/usr/local/ext' to '/usr/local/tmp'? (y/N) Yes
cp: write error: No space left on device
touch: /usr/local/tmp: No space left on device
* X435-24P-4S.5 # Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/logging/__init__.py", line 892, in emit
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/logging/__init__.py", line 852, in flush
IOError: [Errno 28] No space left on device
Logged from file ztpdhcp.py, line 642

Is there another partition with more space?
Just for information, how much space/flash does the x435 have? compared to X440G2 or 5320?

Thank You
BR Anton

Hi Anton,

Also curious what command you're using for the install? Are you trying to download/copy and install separately? Could you try the 'download image' or 'download url' commands listed here depending on your version? You can optionally 'install' at this time or later depending on your answer to the prompt.

the x435 has a total of 128Mb flash memory, while the x440G2 has 4Gb of eMMC flash and the 5320 1Gb of SLC NAND flash.

The flash information can be found in the hardware installation guides.

Hi Anton,

What version are you currently on and you can provide the output of " ls /usr/local/tmp"(mainly the portion below):
1K-blocks Used Available Use%
19324 4260 15064 22%

Thanks,
