Extreme Control with 9100 series AP (Xirrus, Avaya, Extreme)

Hi Hub Community,

Can a customer that has invested in the Avaya 9100 series Wireless LAN solution with WOS point WOS to EAC engine as external RADIUS server and add the APs into Extreme Control as an authenticator? This is not a WLC solution. The WOS is used to provide configuration profiles to the APs and they use IDE for authentication. If possible they want to replicate the IDE rules in EAC and have one RADIUS server.

in general it’s no problem to connect 3rd party authenticators/radius-clients to extreme control.

The question is, what attributes in radius request you need to check and how many custom attributes you need to send in response/reply.
