3825i console access issue

3825i console access issue

Hello, everybody,

could you please tell me how can I manage 3825 over console.

I've connected to it using 115200bps, I can see it's startup log output, but can't login. It does not accept keys input.

Is it possible?

Many thanks in advance,

Ilya

We had a similar issue so we stopped using those and started using a USB one https://www.tripplite.com/usb-rj45-cisco-serial-rollover-cable-usb-type-a-rj45-6-ft-microsoft-surfac...

I've used CISCO cable. What a fun thing? I can see console output from AP, but can't input commands...

Hello, Ilya!

Did you check that console cable with right pins and all pins is connected?

May be Tx signal don't received by AP from lap-top?

Thank you!

It should boot to a prompt where it would accept input from the console. I would try a different cable. What are you trying to do in the shell? In the 10.41 code we added the remote shell tab to the ap properties:
