Hello,
Is it possible to upgrade from version 5.8 to 7.x?
I have routers of the type:
- AP621
- AP650
- AP6511
- AP71XX
- AP7532
If upgrade is possible, are these routers supported by version 7.x?

Hi Elias,
- AP621 > No
- AP650 > No
- AP6511 > No
- AP71XX > No
- AP7532 > Yes, but better upgrade step by step, 5.8 >> 5.9 >> 7.4 >> 7.X.
Also, care the FW release date orders. E.g. 5.8.6.0-011R(14.09.2017) >> 5.9.3.3-004R(12.04.2019) >> 7.4.0.0-025R(11/07/2020) >> 7.X (xx.xx.2021)
By the way, RFS6K does not support FW 7.X.
- AP621 > No
- AP650 > No

as already answered, some of your devices cannot be updated to wing7.
but you can go to the latest wing5 for the aps and use a wing7 controller with "relaxed adoption".
so older fw-release aps are able to adopt.
i tried it, worked. but i think it is not supported for large environment.
most important with relaxed adoption: wing5 and wing7 aps can coexist, but it is not allowed to put them into the same rf-domain.
although they are in wing 5, you have to split the rf-domains it into two with relaxed adoption.
about html5: it is officially released in 7.6.3, called nova. instead you can use the "wing manager" to connect to a flash device on a html gui.
works ok (but could be better)
and i fully agree, that html5 under wing5 should be implemented

Thanks for the answer @tknv
There is no way to upgrade then. We bought this controller and the license some time ago and there is no way we can get rid of the routers that don't work with 7.x.
The worst thing is to continue with a webGui via flashplayer.
Does version 5.9 support a webgui with html5?

@Elias Morais Pereira @Sam Pirok
I'm sure there are very many sites with the same issue and unable to update...
We really do need html5 support for WiNG 5.x and although it has been mentioned not in the foreseeable future, I don't think it has been ruled out.
But unless we all request and support its development then that need wont be clear to Extreme.
So, Extreme, can we have html5 GUI support added to WiNG5.x please..
Edit: Although this thread is referring to RFS6000, I'm requesting this for VX9000 and other relevant 5.x controllers.
