Upgrading WiNG architecture to 7.3

Hello,

We have an architecture composed of 200 APs with a virtualized VX9000 and ExtremeGuest.

We need to update this architecture to verify if those updates fix the issue we had with ExtremeGuest. (Randomly show 404-not found instead of the authentifcation page).

I would like to know if there is no issue updating the ExtremeGuest and the VX9000 with the latest updates.

Currently, we have :

• ExtremeGuest -> 5.9.3.1-001R that we need to upgrade to 6.0.1.0-001R
• VX9000 -> 5.9.5.0-007R to 7.3.0.0
• We mostly have AP 7522 and some AP 8432

I have checked release note for Eguest and VX9000, it seems to be okay but I would like to be sure that there is not side effects.

Hi Sinfo,

Eguest 6.0.1 will work with WiNG 7.3.0
WiNG should to be on 5.9.6 and above code to be compatible with Eguest 6.x
