Virtual AP with7522

Hi everybody!!!

I have a VAP with 9 AP7522, I have also seen that the images are compatible with the AP7562 / AP7532. Does this mean that the VAP can include those types of AP?

In addition to what Ron provided you with and to answer your question, heterogenous AP adoption to a virtual controller is possible as long as you follow the adoption hierarchy , meaning, if the VC (Virtual Controller) is one of the AP7522 APs, it will not be able to adopt higher tiered APs such as the AP7532 and AP7562 APs. The VC should always be the higher tiered unit and not vice versa.

In your case and for this to work, the VC should either be an AP7532 or an AP7562, but not an AP7522 AP.

We recommend you upgrade the lot to firmware 5.9.3.2.
