VX9000 Rebooted while taking tech-support

Hello team,

I have upgraded VX9000 with remote ap from WiNG5 to WiNG7. VX9000 has one another controller in cluster and approx 500 AP's including remote area.

Problem is when I take tech-support from VX9000, its rebooted immediately with crash info.

Kindly provide solution at the earliest.

Hello Arun,

Engineering has been informed of same. Looks like version 7.7.1 is affected but not 7.7.0. Please contact us to create case for follow up.

Hello Arun,

  • What firmware version did you upgrade from and to?
  • Does this happen when pulling tech dump using tftp, FTP or SFTP?
  • Are you using NOVI UI, WiNG-MAN or cli
  • Was this happening back in 5.x?

Hi, 

I have upgraded firmware from 5.9.1.3-007R to 7.7.1.0-012R. Yes this happen when pulling tech-dump via tftp or ftp also.

I have checked it via CLI and GUI both, and I am facing same issue. It was not happening in 5.X.

Also I have checked on my test environment, and I am facing issue in that also.

I think there is bug in the latest release.
