We have just purchased 25 Aerohive AP250 but was only able to onboard 7 on the portal. With the 5 or 6 others that I've so far tried, I keep getting this error "The product type for the device does not exist", which is really strange.

How certain are you on those serial numbers? The 1st 4 digits denote hardware model and should be 0250 for the AP250 not 0205.

The aerohive NG account is hive@expressvending.co.uk. You would see that the first 7 were successfully onboarded.
