Hello,
On many different VHMs of cloud EIQs (from different customers) I often have a “Device Update Failed” results. I have tested with same results:
Any known issue by now?
To be corrected?
I openned a case but no feedback by now.

If you hover over the error, or go to the alarms, there should be more information as to why the device update failed. If you’re able to provide this we can narrow it down 🙂
Generally the error is caused by configuration it doesn’t like (i.e. it can’t get back to Cloud IQ after it has been pushed) or a firewall preventing the update. A rarer issue is that you’ll need to reboot the AP first (at a physical or switch level) before it’ll take the update.
