how to monitor devices that are using backhaul failover?

Backhaul failover is set in the radio profile, allowing a device to use a wireless backhaul link when necessary. Is there any way to track or monitor if a device makes this change?

Hi John,

I meant Device Mode by Mode. See the screenshot below. Apologies.

One of the ways to monitor if the device is running as a mesh point or portal is to add a column named "Mode" on the Manage Devices page. This column can be added via the Column Picker on the upper right corner of the page. You might need to refresh the page to see the Mode being displayed once added.

Looks like that there is no Alarm generated in case backhaul failover is triggered.

I hope that this is changed in the future as it’s very important to know whether a AP is connected via ENet or backhaul failover.

The only view that I’ve found that show that the AP isn’t using the ENet is if you click on the AP and then > monitor > wired interface.

Number of ports in use = 0
