Upgrading firmware with an EAPS ring

I have to upgrade the firmware on 3 switches that have an EAPS ring running on them. When I reboot the switch will the ring just failover and then complete once the switch is back up? Are there any special considerations I should be aware of?

Last Supported EXOS Software Version

Ok, dumb question.. what exactly does this mean? Is it the last version that Extreme will support or is it the last released firmware? What if it's blank?
