Exploring stacking x440 via sfp+ with x670v, is it possible?

Is it possible to stack x440 with x670v, I'm planning to stack 2 x670v with 2 x440. when I do "show stacking", the x670v shows that it detects the other x670v showing its mac-address. but not the x440. I'm using v160 stacking on the x670v via VIM40...
