connected two X670-G2 via DAC back to back to form a stack, serving as a core for edge switches

now from edge which are X440-G2 two 10G links (LAG) connected to each X6702 switch

configured LAG at x670 and x440

X670 side

enable sharing 1:1 grouping 1:1,2:1 algo address-based l2

X440 side

enable sharing 50 grouping 50-51 algo address-based l2

connectivity is there but random dropping of ping packets performance is bad.. seems like a loop
possible solution to control this situation??

Why dont you try to use lacp and l3_l4 like this:

x670 -> enable sharing 1:1 grouping 1:1,2:1 lacp algo address-based l3_l4
x440 -> enable sharing 50 grouping 50-51 lacp algo address-based l3_l4

You can look at storm control:

and possible conectivity errors:

and for stacking ports:

Can you post results from 'show sharing' from the 670 and 440?
