Enterasys survey AP power config

Hello all,

I'm doing a wireless survey with an Enterasys 3715e for the first time. The AP was configured by someone else to run without a controller. It broadcasts a custom SSID that he set up. I can read it just fine. My issue is that I'm unsure how to find out the current power setting. I know that I can "cset power 0" to change it but I started surveying with whatever power setting is was set to. I've looked through the "cget config" and can't decipher what the power setting is. Any advice helps.

As you use the model with the ext. antenna please keep in mind to configure the correct one.
Otherwise you could end up exceeding the max allowed EIRP in your region.

In that case your site survey wouldn't be valid.

i.e. the 3dBi omni would look like that on the CLI ...

You can add a grep to the "cget config"

For example:
# cget conf | grep Power
minPower 0 4
maxPower 0 15
atpcAdjPower 0 0
minPower 1 4
maxPower 1 15
atpcAdjPower 1 0
