Hi all,
Does anyone know how to reset the password on RFS6000 without affect configurations? don’t want to do “reset” now, is a bit too risky while the user currently using it,
I remember cisco got some way to only change the password and not change the configurations, hopefully for RFS6000 got the same command to do that. The colleague before I start work forget the admin password so must reset anyway. any assist will be appreciated.

I don’t believe this is possible on the RFS6000. A password reset will wipe out the config; however, if you have a copy of the startup/running config, you will be able to change the password in there, reset the controller and reload the config with the new password.
Thank you,
Chris
