We have a customer who wants to lock specific MAC addresses to specific ports as a form of location tracking.
They want 10:20:30:40:50:ab to only be able to connect to ABC MDF port 1:1.
Is there a way to accomplish this in XOS on X460s and X440s?
I'm living a problem in our MPLS network and would like to share you experience.
One of our Extreme X460 switch is experiencing high CPU load and with process mpls and bcmRX in the top of the processes with high utilisation.
I have the following extreme switches running layer 2 and layer 3 for our organisation:
X670 G1 Firmware 18.104.22.168
X670 G2 Firmware 22.214.171.124
What is my easiest option for capturing layer 3 conversations from a source IP range?
I'd like to know what...
I want to see MAC address of particular a specific Port (e.g. port no. 35)
Note:- Not what are the MAC received on that port (sh fdb )
Is there any procedure to check that or System mac is the only one ?
