What is the difference between S series firmwares; 8.63.03.0002 and 8.63.03.0003?

Hi,

I am looking firmware updates for our S4 chassis. There are two firmwares images 8.63.03.0002 and 8.63.03.0003. 8.63.03.0003 has higher version number but says (legacy). Both firmwares release notes has our part numbers as supported: ST1206-0848-F6 and 2x SOG1201-0112.

So which one is suitable for us? What is the difference between them?

Regards,

Rahman

As far as I know, the imaged with LEGACY is for S150 Module. The one without the LEGACY is for the newer S180 Modul.
On the 2nd link, Serie 1 Option modules are listed as legacy module.

Your Fabric Module ST1206-0848-F6 is a S150 Module. This is a legacy one.

The Option Module SOG1201-0112 is a type 1 module
I would recommend to use the LEGACY Firmware.
But I don't know if the non Legacy would work or not.
Yesterday I updated a S4-Chassis with S150 with the Legacy, last week a S180 with the non legacy.
