Difference between WM3700 & IDENTIFI regarding the AP upgradation

In WM3700 controllers , when the controller is upgraded the access points also get automatically upgraded . Is the same applicable / available in Identify wireless controllers..... is there any extra config needs to be done or will it be by default.
