Is 802.11k recommended in the 10.11.x firmware track?

Hello, I'm curious if 802.11k/Beacon Report/Quiet IE are recommended on C5210 running 10.11.x. If so, will they impact performance/air usage at all? I'm curious about the "nearby AP's" report, which requires 11k in order to view.

3605/3610APs randomly constantly fail over to back-up controller

C5210 Controller 9.21.10.5 with about 1100 APs. We have 2 controllers and my APs keep failing over to the other controller. This is causing delays in my work. Is there a way I can turn this setting off?
